My Journey in VCU Globe

I came to VCU as a third culture kid from Kingston, Jamaica and applied to the Globe program with the hope that joining a living learning community centered on global education would continue to shape me and add stability to my somewhat itinerant life. It has been nice to call somewhere “home” for the past 3.5 years since it’s the longest I’ve lived in one place since I was 10 years old. My experience in VCU Globe has allowed me to reconnect with my American roots and shape my identity, establish a career path, and strengthen my interests in cross-cultural education.
